A harassment lawsuit adds to the challenges facing MrBeast.

Participants in an upcoming game show produced by MrBeast and Amazon allege that the YouTube sensation and his production company enabled a culture of mistreatment and abuse.

If MrBeast and his production company were ever in beast mode, it has now officially been switched off. Contestants from the upcoming game show Beast Games have filed a lawsuit against the show’s creators, YouTube star Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson and Amazon, claiming they fostered a culture of mistreatment and abuse during filming.

In the class-action lawsuit, five anonymous contestants allege inadequate payment and dangerous filming conditions in Las Vegas. Key claims include:

  • Several contestants were hospitalized due to the games.
  • Participants had limited access to medical care, were denied breaks, and received minimal food.
  • Female contestants reported experiencing sexual harassment throughout production.

This lawsuit follows a New York Times report highlighting similar issues. Beast Games was projected to be the largest game show in history, boasting a $100 million budget, over 1,000 contestants, and a $5 million prize. Neither MrBeast nor Amazon has commented on the lawsuit.

The challenges for MrBeast continue. Recently, he faced backlash for launching a “healthier” Lunchables competitor that many deemed not healthy at all. In July, he terminated an employee accused of grooming minors, and last month, old videos resurfaced featuring him using homophobic and racist slurs.
